Established in 1963 by Mrs. Rita Trigger, the school initially focused on ballet classes. In 2010, the reins were passed to her granddaughter, Anna, leading to the school’s rebranding as Anna Rose Dance. 

In 2023 Miss Alex became principal of the school and re-branded the school to Medley School of Dance.

Chantelle has been dancing and performing since she was 3 years old and over the years has performed in numerous dance school shows. 

Chantelle has also performed in 4 professional pantomimes and two shows with the Russian Ballet. Chantelle studies at the Linda Sweetzer Teacher Training College and has gained her ISTD DDI and taken her practical exams for her DDE. Chantelle has recently started her own Blossom Ballet in Hayes and works at numerous other dance schools.

Charly studied Ballet from the age of 5-15. She progressed to the RAD grades through a Ballet school in Windsor where she reached Advanced One level. She also attended the London Senior Ballet School on Saturdays which was non-syllabus based and focused on pointework.

Charly has continued to have a passion for Ballet since a young age and is now in the process of obtaining a DDE qualification in ISTD Ballet.

Miss Alex completed her professional Dance training at Creative Academy, earning a first-class honours degree in 2016. Following this achievement, she pursued additional qualifications, obtaining her DDE in Modern Theatre, Tap, and Imperial Ballet through the ISTD. Furthermore, she is certified in Acrobatics Arts, possesses Level 2 Makaton proficiency, holds the role of Safeguarding Lead, and is trained in Paediatrics First Aid.

With her extensive expertise, Miss Alex offers instruction in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Musical Theatre, Acrobatics, Street Dance, and Cheer. She is deeply committed to ensuring dance education is inclusive and accessible to all students, drawing on her experience in teaching both SEND and mainstream students.

Miss Phoebe started dancing at the age of 6, competing in British Arts Awards competitions and completing ISTD exams in Ballet and Modern from primary up to advance 1.

Miss Phoebe is currently training for her degree in ‘Theatre Dance’ at London Studio Centre while continuing her training at Momentum Performing Arts Academy to complete her ISTD DDE teaching qualifications in Ballet and Modern.

Anna has worked in the dance industry for over 20 years, after running Anna Rose Dance for 12 years she now works as a Virtual Assistant for dance schools and other creative businesses. When she's not sat at the computer you can find Anna with her two children watching Disney movies!
